Town Investment Plan for Hereford revealed

Extensive engagement with communities across Hereford resulted in challenges, opportunities, suggestions and criticisms being scrutinised and evaluated against an ambitious vision for our city.

The resulting Town Investment Plan focuses on 15 projects that cover connectivity, urban regeneration, and skills and enterprise. The total development cost of these projects is £44 million with the #StrongerHereford board asking the Government for £25 million from the Towns Fund.

The proposals put forward is a vision of Hereford as a pioneering rural city that is empowered by a new model of inclusive and sustainable growth. Together the projects articulate five core long-term imperatives: Greenest, Fairest, Creative, Digital and Connected.
